Wuddup, this is davO with the report for Wednesday afternoon at 1:00pm.
1-3 ft - ankle to waist high and poor+ conditions.
PM REGIONAL OVERVIEW:This afternoon we have our old WNW swell continuing to fade-with sets in the chest high range for most areas, while select spots pull in the occasional bigger set. Winds are light and surface conditions are fairly clean. Tide is still up-making it swampy, but things should improve with more consistent sets into the evening as the tide drops and the new swell fills in.
This Morning's Dawn Patrol: A few workable lines and shoulders to be had. Look for the high tide of nearly 5' to soften things up later in the morning.
Overcast skies with light/variable winds.
Old WNW drops out further with mainly waist high waves and chest high+ sets at good spots. New WNW starts to build late in the day. Conditions are fairly clean with light/variable winds turning onshore for the afternoon. It's going to be a bit on the soft and inconsistent side throughout the morning with a high tide of nearly 5' at 12:42pm. Should see some improvement as the tide backs out into the evening.
THURSDAY: New WNW builds further, showing the most size for the afternoon. Look for shoulder-head high+ surf at good breaks while standouts see some well overhead sets, especially in the PM. Clean.
Winds: Light/variable to light NE winds early, just light/variable onshore flow for the PM.
