Wuddup, this is davO with the report for Wednesday afternoon at 1:00pm.
1-2 ft - ankle to knee high with occasional 3 ft. and poor+ conditions.
PM REGIONAL OVERVIEW:This afternoon the surf is on the continued decline as we have very tiny and weak W windswell and SW swell in the water. Expect peaky and scattered lines in the ankle-plus zone for most spots, while the better breaks pull in an occasional thigh to waist high set. Looking a bit crumbly due to med-high tides and onshore winds associated with the fog bank that is beginning to clear in some ares.
This Morning's Dawn Patrol: Clean little dumpy lines and lines with some short ends.
Patchy fog and winds 5+ kts out of the W for the afternoon.
This morning there's a small scale mix of fading old WNW(285-300+) groundswell and little SSW pulse, with weak waves mainly down around knee high. Light offshore winds for clean conditions through the morning turn light onshore in the afternoon. Tides do not drop under 3' today and are climbing up and over 5' later in the afternoon-which could slow things down for sure.
WEDNESDAY: Minor mix of remnant old WNW swell and small SSW swell for weak waves mainly under knee high.
Wind: Light/variable early, turn W 8-12kts in the afternoon.

Please consider assisting Boarding House Mentors in their efforts to again send inner-city kids to the North Shore as part of the Aloha Ambassador Scholarship Fund. Last year BHM successfully sent two kids from South Los Angeles to Hawaii to participate in Hawaiian culture, surfing and additional learning experiences. BHM is an entirely volunteer based operation that is asking for the support of the greater surfing community to help it send two more youth participants this year.
