Good Afternoon, this is davO with the report for Wednesday afternoon at 1:00pm. 2-3 ft - knee to waist high with occasional 4 ft. and fair+ conditions.
PM REGIONAL OVERVIEW: This afternoon we are seeing fun peaky lines in the knee-waist-chest range throughout the region with the better spots going slightly bigger on sets. Winds are going to stay fairly light into the evening and tide is going to come back in-which could make for a bit more face to ride.
This morning's dawn patrol: Clean, hollow peaks popping up with workable corners/lines to pick off at all spots. Inconsistent on the bigger sets.
Clear skies with calm to light offshore flow right now with W/NW flow in the afternoon around 5-10kts+. Today we have our old WNW and SW swell mix backing off as a new modest WNW groundswell builds into the day. Surf hangs in the 2-3'+ range at the better spots, standouts go to around chest-shoulder high on occasion. Clean conditions in the morning, with occasional crossed up lines and peaks. Winds are calm to light offshore flow right now with W/NW flow in the afternoon around 5-10kts+. Conditions are still a bit swampy due to the early a.m. high tide-which will be draining out to a low of -0.62' at 1:04pm. THURSDAY: WNW-NW groundswell mix holds as old SW swell eases. Surf in the knee-waist-chest zone with some shoulder high sets at top spots with peaky shape at the beachbreaks. Watch for big tide swings to effect size/shape at most spots. Wind: Light/variable to light offshore flow early with W/NW flow in the afternoon around 10kts+.
