Good Afternoon, this is davO with the report for Wednesday afternoon at 1:00pm. 2-3 ft - knee to waist high and poor-fair conditions.
PM REGIONAL OVERVIEW: This afternoon we are seeing fun peaks in the knee-waist high range throughout the region with the better spots going slightly bigger on sets. Winds should stay fairly light into the evening and tide is going to come back in-which could make workable faces to ride.
This Morning's Dawn Patrol: Plus sets. Clean, semi-consistent lines with lots of closeouts and some short fast corners.
Light offshore winds early turns W 7-10kts in the afternoon. This morning there's a new WNW(290-300+) groundswell filling in as old SSW Southern Hemi fades and some NW windswell hangs on. Surf is in the knee-waist+ zone for lots of exposed spots, while top breaks are seeing better sets. Light offshore winds with clean conditions early, light-moderate onshores this afternoon. Tide is backing out to a -.7' low around 1:00pm. WEDNESDAY: New WNW-NW groundswell mix fills in as old SW fades. Look for knee-waist-chest zone waves with fun, peaky shape at the better beachbreaks. Clean early. Wind: NE winds early, shifting light onshore in the afternoon to around 10kts.
